Honey I’m home! I landed early this morning which might mean that I’m currently jet lagged as I’m typing this in the middle of the night. I’m still processing what an amazing experience this trip to New York has been. I’ve done a bazillion things so if it weren’t for these pictures I probably forgot what I’ve done already. It’s weird to be back and not having this huge thing to look forward to, but I feel so so blessed that I got to go to New York. I’m completely in love with the city and I’ll be back as soon as I can!
In today’s post I’m showing you some pictures of things we’ve done on day 3 and 4. On day 3 I first went to NY Fashion Week and after that we passed by Wall Street. From there we walked down Broadway, which is super duper long and we made a stop whenever we saw something fun. At night we went up the Empire State Building for an awesome view. If you plan on going up the building night time definitely is the best time of the day as queues can get really long. It was so cool to see everything happening on the streets of The Big Apple from above. I’ve seen so many views on this trip, but couldn’t get enough of them. You don’t see a view like that often, unless you live there of course then hey, lucky you! After that we went to Shake Shack in Union Square Park for some yummy portobello burgers. We ended the night by watching Ghostbusters and it was really cool to see all those places I’d already visited on screen!
Next day started with more good food: buckwheat oat milk blueberry banana pancakes at Brooklyn Diner. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in The City. I should try and make that at home! I also went to the Met and Whitney museum to see another great view and a super cool exhibition on Jeff Koons, one of the most amazing artists I know. All of his pop culture references definitely put a smile on my face.
Stay tuned for more New York updates!
