Amsterdam Fashion Week is officially over and I had a blast! I have visited shows at previous fashion weeks before, but it used to be just one or two shows. So it was really cool to experience the full week and see all the fashion talent the Netherlands has to offer. The location of fashion week is awesome as well, there are loads of cool cafés around, so when we were not visiting shows, we could enjoy some vino on a sunny (YAY!!) terrace.
As opposed to other fashion weeks across the globe, most Dutch people don’t let their inner peacock out. I’m not saying I do, but I do see it as a nice opportunity to have fun with fashion and try out new combinations.
A few weeks ago I was asked to enter the OASAP blogger program. This basically means I get to pick a few cool things they have to offer every once in a while. I had a hard time picking something, because boy oh boy, do they have cool stuff.
For my first order I finally decided to get one of those wardrobe essentials my wardrobe was still lacking: pleather shorts. I love the sporty feel of these shorts! They are really comfortable as well, plus they can make a real casual outfit (think t-shirt and sandals) look fashionable.
You can get my awesome pleather shorts here.
I also got another really cool item, which I will show you in my next outfit post! Stay tuned, loads of fashion week posts are coming up!
