You can’t be overdressed or underdressed in a little black dress
Or so my hero Karl Lagerfeld tells me. So why is it that I didn’t own a LBD yet? Something so simple yet so stylish is a must-have in any girls wardrobe. But not mine. For some reason I always thought little black dresses were a bit too simple. But as I’m getting older my style evolves with me. Recently I’m leaning more towards classic pieces and I’m trying to make more deliberate choices on which items belong in my wardrobe and which items don’t. Quality over quantity and all.
It all started after we finally bought a new wardrobe, which made me sort out my current clothes collection. I am going to get rid of a lot – more on that later – and only keep the items I need and love. So with a my new-found credo on my mind I surfed the WWW, still in doubt whether I really needed something new. My surf sesh stopped at the little black dress section on TopVintage.net, where I made a very well considered decision. I picked this pretty number that works really well with both my style and body type.
Who knew the iconic LBD comes in so many shapes and sizes? I kinda had a hard time not clicking every item home. See for yourself and shop little black dresses online at TopVintage. Once you have found the one you love, it’s all about the styling. All you really need is your fave pair of eyecatching shoes, your most pretty handbag et voilá! A classic look is born.
