Today I want to talk to you about hair colour. I love my natural colour a lot, but like any girl I also like to experiment with my look every once in a while. I’ve tried out loads of different hair colours, varying from much lighter hair to different shades of red. After a few years of colouring my hair I was kinda done with it and went back to my natural colour. Until last year, when my friend (and professional hair stylist) Blanca gave me grey high lights. I absolutely love how this turned out, but the grey faded and I kept the blonde hue I have now.
But spring is in the air and this always makes me feel like trying something new. I had heard good things about L’Oréal’s new Préférence, which is a hair-dye you can use at home. So I thought I’d give it a try myself! The product comes with an extra colour extender which you can use after the treatment, giving your coloured hair just that extra boost it needs. The treatment is super easy to use and only takes about 10 minutes – just enough to sit back & watch half of your favourite Girls episode from your couch! I’ve used the blonde colour extender for my highlights myself, it really brightens it up and has removed some of that yellow-ish colour.
I’m a big fan of this product as you can tell! Will you give it a try as well?
