Let’s talk about the elephant in the room in today’s post! I’m talking about my pearly whites and by that I don’t mean my beautiful white teeth. I am talking about my main means of transport a.k.a. my pins. They are as white as your dream wedding dress. Ok, to be fair this was probably the first time they saw sunlight this year, but still. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t really have a problem with them. I just find it odd how I can’t seem to tan those days. When packing my stuff for our move I came across some pictures from my childhood and teens and I noticed I looked a lot more tan back then. I blame it on not having the time to *play outside* or spend days and days at the beach. Oh, the downfalls of grown-up life. A few years back I was very good at keeping up my gym regimen and this always concluded in a little tanning bed sesh. But when I heard about the dangers of getting fungal infections (yikes!) or the big C (huge yikes!) this did not seem like a very good idea anymore. So I decided to try out a self-tanner. I figured applying the lotion would be pretty easy, but I just ended up with weird orange spots on my legs. So, nope, I’ll probably not post a tutorial on that anytime soon. I guess I’ll just have to make do with the way things are. Besides that spending some time away from the computer every once in a while would not be a bad idea. As you’re reading this I’m doing just that, in London though, so fingers crossed for some sunshine. Unless any of you have a better idea?!
