While you’re reading this I’m on a plane to New York City (!!!!). It’s been a while since I’ve been on a long flight like this one, so I’ll make sure to bring enough reading material.
I packed my suitcase yesterday and had to do most of my outfit planning in advance. When you’re on a city trip like this one comfort is key, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look good!
I always start with shoes when I pick an outfit, so this actually makes city trip looks harder. You’ll never be able to pack all your shoes and the shoes you do pack have to be comfy as hell as you’ll be walking for miles. I try to go for 3 pairs max., so usually that means a pair of sandals, some pretty heels for nights out and a pair of sneakers/brogues/boots depending on the weather.
Here are some looks I planned for different occasions. Not sure if I’ll be wearing them exactly like this, I might throw something together on the spot. And obviously I’m going to buy a thing or two when I’m there. Keep your eyes peeled for the actual outfits!
