I’ve been ill all week, which annoys the hell out of me. What it comes down to is I just need to take a chill pill (not literally, thank god) and not be busy all the freaking time.
Which I am totally failing at, as you can see. Basically I just took these pictures, had a breathe of fresh air and now I need to lay still all day. Boring!

Can we just take a second to talk about my amazing new shoes? One of the benefits of being ill was that I found some time in between all the resting to scour the ASOS sale for cool bargains.
I just had to have these babies the minute I saw them. I mean, they are pink and shiny?! What more could a girl ask for? Six year old me has major shoe envy right now.
Speaking of GIRLS… See the shirt I am wearing? It’s a shirt my boyfriend got me because I am such a fanGIRL… of GIRLS, obviously.
No, I have not suddenly turned into a lezzo, I’m talking about the series (hence the very subtle HBO logo on my shirt). I mean, this has got to be one of the best series I know.
I love the witty dialogues and well-written characters. Lena Dunham is a true talent. I know that some people are somewhat annoyed that Girls doesn’t really reflect Lenas own life, seeing as she is a privileged rich girl, but ah well. I think the series depicts my generation quite well.
There are so many people in their twenties right now struggling with what to do with their lives when there is so much to choose from and at the same time still wanting to have fun whilst being young. This all sounds quite serious, but I love the fact that Girls isn’t that serious at all. Of course there is room for the occasional tear, but all in all this is just a really fun series to watch and I’ve enjoyed every episode from beginning to end. If only there were a new season of Girls I could watch right now…
