Summer is going by so fast, I can’t even imagine. I am very glad we are actually having some kind of summer for a change, so the only part of fall that gets me excited right now are the new fall collections. There is one particular store I am keeping my eye on with the start of a new season (or with the start of a new week for that matter). You can imagine my excitement when this store contacted me to style two key items of their fall collection in 5 different looks.
Building up the tension, cue drumroll, I’m talking about ASOS! Half of my closet is probably filled with ASOS stuff, so it’s only fair that the company that receives half of my paycheck gives me something back. Kidding! Obviously I’m super happy with this opportunity and it’s something I couldn’t have believed to be doing when I started this blog in January.
The two pieces I received are a pinafore dress and a backpack. The pinafore dress is very girly and very me, but I wasn’t feeling the backpack just yet. I guess this is where I tell you that the series is called the ASOS Blogger Style CHALLENGE: challenge accepted!
In my first look I am combining the two pieces together. One of the requirements for this challenge was to think of different occasions for every look. This look is something I would wear to a festival. A typical festival outfit I would wear usually includes a hat and my Dr. Martens boots. It also is the only occasion I could see myself combining these two items together, besides this post, in which I’m introducing both items to you.
I know I haven’t been blogging on a regular basis and some people may have spotted a bit of tumbleweed rolling on by.. Whoops! Don’t worry, I’m back with a vengeance (and a new lay-out!) thanks to this Blogger Style Challenge. Stay tuned for not 1… not 2… not 3.. but 4 more looks! 5 looks in a week you say?! OMG AWESOME!
