Afgelopen week was het weer Amsterdam Fashion Week en dit is voor mij elk jaar weer een klein feestje! MBFWA is een heel fijn event om inspiratie op te doen. Daarnaast is het altijd gezellig om veel bekende gezichten tegen te komen.
Na mijn samenwerking met NIVEA Invisible for Black & White Deodorant was ik uitgenodigd om met NIVEA naar de Tony Cohen show te gaan, waarvan het merk de hoofdsponsor is. De show van Tony is elk jaar weer een van de hoogtepunten en ook nu wist deze me te inspireren! Tony Cohen staat bekend om zijn minimalistische, chique stijl. En ook dit jaar was er weer veel zwart en wit op de catwalk te zien. Een perfecte match met NIVEA Invisible for Black & White Deodorant, welke witte strepen op zwarte kleding en gele vlekken op witte kleding voorkomt! Ik vond vooral het gebruik van verschillende materialen en structuren in de show erg geslaagd. Het mooiste uit de collectie vond ik een aantal lange jassen, hiervan heb ik geen foto – ik was te druk bezig met staren 😉 Vanaf de front row kon ik alles goed zien, fijn!
Ik heb de laatste tijd wat meer geëxperimenteerd met “kleurloze” outfits en ik moet zeggen dat ik het toch wel leuk vind voor de afwisseling. Zeker na het zien van Tony’s show denk ik dat ik vaker voor zwart/wit zal kiezen! Het resultaat vinden jullie uiteraard weer op deze blog of Snapchat & Instagram (@adashoffash). Last week it was Amsterdam Fashion Week, an event I always love to visit. It’s a perfect event to get new inspiration and see some familiar faces again.
After my collaboration with NIVEA Invisible for Black & White Deodorant the brand invited me to visit the Tony Cohen Show, which they sponsor. Tony’s show always is one of Amsterdam Fashion Week’s high lights. This time was no exception, the show definitely inspired me! Tony is known for his minimalistic, chic style. This means a lot of black & white on the runway, leaving more room to play with different materials & structures. The monochrome outfits were a perfect match to NIVEA’s Invisible for Black & White Deodorant: this product doesn’t leave yellow stains on white garments or white stripes on black garments.
My favourite part of the collection were a couple of long coats. I don’t have a picture of those though, as I was too busy drooling over them 😉 I had the perfect view from my front row seat!
Lately I’ve been experimenting with “colourless” outfits and I have to say I’m starting to like this idea! Tony Cohen’s show really inspired me to go for black & white a bit more often.
