I’m aware of the fact that we’re just a few days into June, but I’m sooo serious about this title. I bought two really cool things this month. And they’re both in this post.
1. The Levi’s jeans
I’ve been obsessed with 501 jeans since forever. And ever since I first saw the frayed version, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one. I have a newly bought 501 jeans already, but somehow the fit didn’t come close to what I wanted. What I wanted was a perfect pair of mom jeans – as seen on Pinterest ;-). But for some reason I could never found exactly what I was looking for. Until one day it hit me: what I needed was to go to a vintage store, to find the perfect fit! So one day I went, tried on a gazillion pairs of 501s and then…. FOUND IT! It’s like these jeans were made for me. Ever since I’ve had them they are in 90% of my outfits, whoops.
2. An Olympus Pen camera
After celebrating my 10 year anniversary with my beloved blog camera – yup, really! – , I felt like it was time to say good bye. I mean, when your camera always stutters, has problems focusing, has scratches on the lens… Well, at that point you know it’s time to get something new. When I was in Milan at the beginning of this year I tried out an Olympus Pen camera and loved it immediately. It works with wifi, so you can upload pics directly to your phone. Blogger dream coming true, right? So when blogger buddy Nicky told me she was selling hers, I just knew I had to get it. In today’s post I played around with it a bit. I love the feel it creates – legs for days, anyone?, but also miss some features my own camera has, like taking pics with a blurred background. So I treated my self to a new amazing lens, which has the sharpest images ever and amazing depth-of-field. I haven’t used it yet in this post, but I took some pictures this weekend and it’s soooo good. Happy kid right here!
