WIND PROOF

Whenever I find a new style crush, I just can’t stop buying it. First overknee boots, now ponchos. My newest addition? I really love the silhouette these warm cape-like scarfs create. They make your legs look extra skinny and obviously you can’t have enough winter warmers these days. And while I’m fairly new to the garment, I’m sure there’s some of you who have been wearing ponchos for years – Sorry for not being the early adopter here ;-). So here’s a question for you guys. How do you wear a poncho when it’s windy? In my case the thing keeps gliding off my shoulders and you can only imagine the trouble I’m in once I decide to wear a hat. I really want this to be a look I can wear everyday, but with the windy weather lately that definitely is a challenge. So, tips anyone? If not, I guess I have to make peace with the idea that not every outfit is wind proof.
