The Alexander Wang x H&M collection has been a hot topic over the past weeks and it is quite possible that this the most talked about H&M collab ever. Let’s just say that if you didn’t know about this collection by now you either A. live under a rock or B. you just don’t like fashion. In the case of B, what are you doing on this blog? 😉
I love Alexander Wang for his simple cuts, sturdy bags, sleek boots and sometimes surprising colours. The things I just summed up are things I don’t see back in this collection. This collection is very sporty – one of many styles Alexander Wang stands for. So you probably won’t see me hysterically running through H&M, trying to get my hands on every item. But there are a couple of pieces I absolutely love. These pieces blend in very well with my personal style, even if they are grey, black or white.
The Neoprene Sweater
I think this is a definite musthave for most of you girls who love this collection. It’s easily recognizable thanks to the huge WANG logo and it’s easy to mix & match with a lot of pieces. I especially love how Andy from Style Scrapbook wears it here. As you can see you don’t have to go 100% sporty, it can be a chic item as well.
The Bodycon Dress
Bodycon dresses work really well with my body type and I love the graphic vibes to this dress. I can totally see myself rocking this with a coloured fur coat and a pair of cool boots. If I am going to be running to the store – or frantically clicking on H&M.com, this is the item I want to get my hands on first.
The Yoga Mat
I’ve mentioned slacking in the gym before and I wish things would be different by now. I still don’t go as often as I should – once a month vs. three times a week – so maybe this über awesome yoga mat will be the boost I need. I mean, who doesn’t want to be the coolest kid in yoga class?! 😉
The Ankle Boots
Ankle boots are one of my weaknesses and this pair is no different. You might think it looks boring at first, but I saw this picture at Where Did U Get That which helped me make up my mind. The material is ace, I absolutely love the zipper detail.
The Boxing Gloves Key Chain
So that yoga mat will work, but actual boxing gloves are definitely a bridge too far. If you haven’t seen it; yup, this collection includes boxing gloves! There’s also a cute little key chain version. I already own 2 Furla and 1 Marc Jacobs key chain, so this AW baby will be great company.
The Overknee Socks
So I love overknee boots and I love socks, so I have to love overknee socks. The sporty details make  them into a very original pair. And if you are tired of them you – not me – can still use them if you go for a run on a winter day.
