tropical garden

It’s no secret that I love a good tropical print. This trend is here to stay and there’s just so many versions to be found. So when I was asked byto pick one of their tropical items I couldn’t be happier. I mean, I love their brand and they had a wonderful selection. I kind of had a hard time choosing, but ended up settling for.
I really wanted to find a palm tree background to match it with, since I’m all about matching backgrounds, but knew this would be impossible in Amsterdam. Then I found out about this one neighbourhood filled with little gardens, one of them supposedly filled with palm trees. So me and Virgit went there, on a hunt for palm trees. This was on a really hot day, so it wasn’t really fun walking around for too long. We walked through a couple of streets and palm trees were nowhere to be found. We were just about to give up when we came at the end of one street and there it was: a tropical garden! And it looked even more beautiful in person! This really made my day, especially since I didn’t have a plan B. I think Virgit did a wonderful job taking the pictures.

If I wouldn’t have told you the story behind these pictures, could you have guessed that these were taken in Amsterdam?
