Shopping at Designer Outlet Roermond
As you may remember I hosted a giveaway last week and two winners were invited to go on a shopping spree with me in Designer Outlet Roermond. This wasn’t my first time here, so I already kind of knew what to expect. But lucky girls Veerle and Wilmke were in for a treat. We did a full tour around the outlet and received little gifts at all kinds of shops.
The hunt for #THEPERFECTPRESENT
With the season for presents just around the corner, our visit was the perfect opportunity to go on a hunt for #theperfectpresent. Obviously it’s nice to get a little something for your loved ones, but this time the girls and I figured it would be even nicer to get ourselves something beautiful. We visited loads of shops and took the odd break in between to eat, drink and get to know each other a little better. None of us really had planned what we wanted to get, so we decided to just see what the outlet had to offer.
Addicted to bags
I’ve turned out to be quite the bag lover so I was drawn to every shop that had pretty bags. I tried out bags at Coach, D&G, Prada and even considered getting a Mulberry bag, which I tried on in different colours. Still thinking of bags, my heart skipped a beat: I saw the newly renovated Furla store, stocking bags in all the colours of the rainbow. I’m quite the Furla collector and own 3 bags by the brand. Another store that got me really excited is Sandro. The French brand has always been high on my wish list, but somehow I never got round to buying anything by them. This may have something to do with the price tag, but hey, I was visiting a designer outlet after all.
Perfect presents come in all sizes
The good thing about Designer Outlet Roermond is there’s a little something for everyone. If you like to splurge there’s Mulberry, Prada, D&G and the likes, but those of you with a tighter budget can find budget-friendly accessories over at Scotch & Soda, L’Occitane, Diesel or the Body Shop. Having trouble deciding? You can always surprise that special someone with a gift card!
My perfect present(s)
It was inevitable that I was getting a Sandro something, so I spend quite some time in the shop, figuring out what that was going to be. Fellow shopper Veerle found her dream dress there and I took 2 items to the cash register: a stunning leather biker jacket and a cute embellished bag. Wilmke was still in doubt about what to get, but after a few shops she managed to find a cute vest at Scotch & Soda and a pair of rad Diesel boots. After this I couldn’t resist going back to the Furla store. Obviously I wondered whether I really needed another Furla bag, but they had such good deals going on that I couldn’t resist. So I ended up going home with not one, not two, but three perfect presents. Stay tuned as they’ll all be featured on the blog soon. I’m also curious to hear from you:
