Hello world! Checking in from the new home after a couple of days of silence. I kinda forgot how exhausting and time-consuming moving can be! We finally got all of our stuff from our old home to the new home. I know that sounds like we got a lot of things, but we just decided to divide the move over a couple of days so it wouldn’t totally kill us. I’m so happy to be here and the home is truly amazing! The only downside is that there is no internet yet. So my sweet girl Carmen is kindly lending me her wifi connection for the moment.
It’s been a while since my last move and the last one was the boyfriend and I moving in for the first time. This was 4,5 years ago and at that time we put all of our stuff together to just see what worked. This time we were taking our stuff – a lot more than the last time – to the new home and we have to find out new ways to store them. In my previous posts I got super excited about decorating the place, but I’m afraid we kind of lost track of the practical side of moving into a new home. So while we’re now almost totally finished in the cool eyecatcher department, we still have to get ourselves some actual closets, cupboards and wardrobes to store our clothes, administration, books, etc.
In today’s post I’m giving you a little peak at our decoration skills. We both absolutely love cool artworks and already gave a few of them a nice little place. I received the boxes, globe and rack from my friends over at Kikkerland, which I think is awesome! If you want to see more updates on how I decorate the place, be sure to follow me on Snapchat or Instagram (@adashoffash).
