INDIAN SUMMER

I’m kind of wondering whether it’s even possible to speak of an indian summer in November, but this weekend’s weather sure made me feel that way! Today’s climate change is freaking weird, although if that includes bare legs in one of the last months of the year I’m not complaining. So this outfit isn’t your typical autumn get-up, but it does include a couple of my fave trends of the season. I’ve been a big fan of tartan/plaid for a long time, so I’m glad to see it making its return every year. When I saw covered in tartan fleece I had to have it. It’s such a perfect little thing and wearing it will add just a little hint of the pattern to any outfit. I love mixing patterns and textures, so of course I couldn’t help but adding one of my other faves of the season: I’ve been a long time fan of leopard prints, but when it comes to animal prints this is a newcomer in my wardrobe. Maybe I thought it was a little tacky before, but I now found out that it can in fact look great when worn right. The same goes for the patent overknee boots I’m wearing, a couple of years ago I probably wouldn’t have thought I’d be wearing those. But I guess we all develop our personal style a little along the way!
