My trip to London started with that everlasting question: what to pack? I ended up doing my packing the night before I went, which lead to a very short night and a very tired first day. Whoopsie! To avoid that you have the same experience, I made this little list of must-haves.
It’s always very tempting to pack eye-catching items so you look totally cool on your trip, but try to be a little practical. Keep in mind that you’ll probably go with hand luggage only, so it’s nice to leave some room for new buys in your suitcase. I always pack a couple of basic items that are easy to mix and match, like these cool crop tops. Then I add 1 or 2 skirts or shorts and a nice pair of sandals for warm weather. No matter where you go, it’s probably not super hot at night, so always pack a sweater, some comfy trainers and a stretchy pair of jeans. Those will come in handy when you’re on a plane too – hello airconditioning! In case you do want to spice up your outfits; keep it small. Think along the lines of a cool passport holder – definitely a helper when you can’t find your passport – or some awesome diva sunnies.
Of course I’d love to hear any tips you have, as I’m already packing for New York in 2 months which calls for advanced packing skills!
