I wondered what made these pictures different from the usual, but then I realised that I usually shoot my outfits against a light background. So this time my usual editing style didn’t apply and I had to go for something a little different. I love playing around in Photoshop and decided to go for a high saturation/high contrast retro style. It takes a little getting used to, but I think I like it for a change!
I’m wearing two new pieces: this supercute handbag with a bow that I’m surely going to be wearing loads and a lovely mint dress from Red Label. I could have gone for the obvious pastel styling again, but this time I went for a casual summer look. If I want to dress down my trick is usually to throw a denim item in the mix. I also really like how these tropical espadrilles add a little bit of summer fun to any outfit!
