December. The last month of the year. The month winter kicks in. Well, not in the Netherlands. Around here it just means fall 2.0. It has been raining non stop today, which brings me to the 99 problems part, brought up by

I’m not sure if fashion bloggers really have 99 problems, maybe if you like to make a problem out of everything – or maybe on the good old bank account-, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make here. If we do have a problem, it is the weather. It is our friend and our enemy. Sun is good, especially during sunset or sunrise, because that’s what makes the light so beautiful. Windy weather can be annoying, but there’s always a place to find where the wind doesn’t blow that hard. But rain, rain is a problem.

I love trying out new locations when shooting an outfit. But this darn weather makes that kind of impossible. By the time I get to a location I’ll already be soaking wet. Now how’s that for fashionable pictures? It would be nice if there was a way to teleport myself to a place where the weather’s just perfect for shooting. Because if there’s one thing I won’t do, it’s letting the weather dictate my wardrobe. Wellies, plastic rain capes and umbrellas have never seemed fashionable to me.

On the bright side it hasn’t been too cold, which made it able for me to put on my good old polka dot tights and combine them with this royal blue skort I received from Lookbookstore. Don’t you just love the combination of black, blue and polka dots?
