What can I say? I just like multiplying patterns. After my polkadots on polkadots looks, I’m now introducing you to checks on checks.
Checks (or plaid, or tartan, or however you wanna call it) are a very classic pattern and the trend always returns after a few years. I can’t remember being very fond of it any of the previous times.
But who cares? I’m a complete fan of the trend this time around.
That’s why I couldn’t pass up the chance of picking this skirt, which is a great example of checks-on-checks goodness in itself.
For this post I’ve collaborated with Stylenanda, an online shop from Korea. They sell a bunch of very unique styles, some cheap, some a little less cheap, but definitely worth the money. This isn’t just your average wholesale shop, Stylenanda sells much cooler garments and as far as I can tell of much better quality too. This site just has everything, from that perfect patent pair of loafers to – something that ticks all of my boxes – a fluffy cocoon coat with pink checks. The best part of this pretty rad shop is that it give you loads of inspiration. Every garment has it’s own lookbook, with cute Korean girls showing ways to style said garments. I actually remember visiting the online shop before, but I probably thought they didn’t ship worldwide. Turns out they do!
I am a big big fan of Asian streetstyle and the fact that Stylenanda makes the look a little easier to attain is an even bigger plus to me.
Warning: visit this too cool for school shop once and you’re hooked…
