Ever since I can remember I’ve had a knack for eye-catching pieces. I think it’s all about the details if you want to add a bit of personality to an outfit and I love seeing that. The other day I found these ballet flats on sale and I think you can imagine my excitement. I’ve been eyeing these for so long and especially love that they’re pink patent. I can see that they are not for everyone as they are quite the showpiece. But luckily there are other ways to make your outfit a bit more ‘you’. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy, there are many different ways to add a personal touch. One of my favourite ways by far is by adding some pretty jewelry.
As you may have noticed I always wear jewelry and love mix & matching the pieces I own. On some days I feel like wearing something basic, but then I still add in a chic touch with my jewelry. Last time I visited London I discovered Monica Vinader and immediately fell in love with their pieces. They are all very feminine and still come in so many different styles that there is something for everyone. And then of course it is up to you to mix & match the pieces together to suit your style. I personally love picking dainty pieces so I can stack them together, like I did with the bracelets in today’s outfit. It really is all about what suits your style and taste when it comes to jewelry.
What I love about Monica Vinader is that they offer engraving to make your jewelry even more personal. It’s a bit like getting a tattoo, only you can take if off at night 🙂 I also really love the idea of getting matching bracelets with your best friend – or boyfriend as Monica Vinader offers men’s jewelry too. My latest piece is the linear bead bracelet, which I’m wearing in today’s post. You can get the bracelet with different cord colours and with gold, silver sterling or rose gold beads. I wear a lot of gold jewelry and went for a completely gold piece so it’s easy to match. I decided to get this piece engraved, but I wasn’t sure what to put on it at first, I first thought of my name but then realized that would be a bit stupid, like I wouldn’t remember my own name! So I opted for “Fash” with a heart instead, it’s part of my blog’s name and something I am very passionate about. I am so happy with this piece and can’t wait to style it in different ways. I would love to hear your thoughts about my bracelet and of course any ideas you have on getting engraved jewelry for yourself!
