Shorter & colder days always make me feel a bit more tired. I’m sure I’m not the only one!
To me it always helps to eat and drink more fruits and veggies. And whenever I find the time I love making a smoothie with fresh or frozen fruits.
One of my latest discoveries for my smoothies is Kefir by Healthy People. This drink is full of protein and made after a recipe from Kaukasus from hundreds of years ago. The flavour reminds me of yoghurt a bit, but it’s much more soft and subtle. The drink is very versatile, you can use it with breakfast, fresh fruit, as a nutritive drink, with cereal, for lunch or in smoothies. My fave thing is to use it in a smoothie and today I wanted to share my fave smoothie recipe with you.
1 cup of Healthy People kefir
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup of frozen forest fruit
1 table spoon of honey
