Who else is excited for Christmas? I’ll be spending mine (and NYE!) in London with the boy. I remember the first time I went to the UK for the holidays and we visited a party. It was over 5 years ago and I thought I looked pretty cool in my velvet skinny jeans, lace top and glitter boots. Until I saw every British girl all glammed up in super high heels and short glitter dresses. To say I felt a tad underdressed is probably the understatement of the century.
Fast forward to today and I have to admit I feel more comfortable with my own style and wouldn’t change it one bit. I really enjoy playing around with festive fabrics like velvet, lurex, sequins etc for the holidays. Take this super awesome biker jacket bywith velvet detailing or the very exclusive Wolford tights – with sequins applied by hand! – I’m wearing. Combined they create a super cool Rock ‘n Roll Christmas outfit. But worn separately you can actually wear them on a day to day basis – making your office day a lot more fun. Such a good investment and waaay better than a short glitter dress you’ll probably wear once!
