I read about The Highline when preparing for this trip and looking for fun & free things to do. I didn’t know what to expect, but knew it had to be cool, because hey, it’s New York! The Highline is a walking route on an old train track and is located above ground level, which gives you a nice view over the city. You get to see tons of cool street views and street art. One of the street art pieces was this pink wall. My boyfriend kindly reminded me that it matched really well with my look and I have to say he was right! Unfortunately we picked a very rainy day for our outside walking tour, so excuse the sloppy hair and ‘I hate rain’ face. This outfit wasn’t really rain appropriate, so we actually had to get off The Highline to buy an umbrella! It was a pink umbrella, so I could have totally thrown that in for good measure. But it is what it is, I guess you’re just going to have to imagine me having the most gorgeous hair and the happiest smile while wearing an umbrella.
